SpectoSpecto in it’s simplest form is a loop of standalone emergency luminaires and/or signs that are linked back to a central switch. These products are simple SELF TEST LUMINAIRES that randomly test themselves routinely in line with BS EN 62034. If a fault arises on any luminaire on the circuit it is reported visually both on the faulty luminaire and at a suitably located central switch plate. |
SpectoLinkSpectoLink permits a number of Specto areas, perhaps on different levels in a building to be reported to a single location say in a reception area or a facilities management office. The test regime requires no manual intervention but for full compliance test results need to be maintained and recorded. |
SpectoWebSpectoWeb permits a group of up to 64 luminaires to communicate via the DALI protocol reporting test results to a central SpectoControl unit which has the ability to upload results via GPRS to the world wide web. The results are stored on the SpectoWeb site and, by password control, users are able to query and report on their site test history and receive warning e-mails when life critical emergency lighting is out of commission. Importantly, test times can be controlled where testing could cause disruption to occupants if not managed, such as hotels, cinemas, theatres and hospitals wards. |

On larger sites, large numbers of luminaires can be grouped together on sub circuits and by using SpectoExtra these can be configured to report to a single SpectoControl.
Larger organisations may require alerts from multiple sites to be directed to a centralised facilities team. Multiple SpectoControl from different site locations units can be set up to report on one web account.
SpectoWatch is an annual contract to which users can subscribe to receive a routine annual service of the site, plus ongoing maintenance of any luminaires that report component failure - all in the contract price.
